Verified Hanging w/Victor on St. Lucia Our driver, Victor, took us on a wonderful day tour of the island. He knew all the great lookout spots to stop and enjoy the breathtaking views and even had a cooler with refreshments to enjoy along the way. He shared island history and answered our questions regarding the culture. Our tour included stops at some key attractions we requested. Victor was very accommodating and patient as we ventured stop to stop. It was an awesome way to experience the island! Victor was waiting for us at the cruise terminal to take us to the beach. He showed us local restaurants to eat at and where we could rent beach chairs. On the return trip, he dropped us off at a local market so we could do some shopping within walking distance to the cruise port. Do not try to drive yourself. the traffic is a free for allVerified Helpful Drivers If you are going to the downtown make sure you first ask if the downtown is open. It is closed on Boxing Day as an example, so only open shops are in the Cruise Terminal. We took the taxi to Carsile Bay. Driver walked us inside the Bar, Grill and beach property to see if this was what we wanted. If not would have taken us to another business. It was perfect he listened to us on the way and picked out what met our needs. Recommend setting a time for pickup and your driver will be back for you. It can get busy after 2pm as people are making their way back to various cruise ships so having a time prearranged works well. If not other drivers will pop you in their cab id space and occupants are willing.
